उठिए, वरना सूचना के आपके हक में लग जाएगी सेंध!

कानून बदलने के लिए दिया विधेयक, सूचना मांगने का कारण बताना होगा

महाराष्ट्र के शिरडी संसदीय क्षेत्र से शिवसेना सांसद हैं भाउसाहब वाकचौरे। 39 साल की सरकारी नौकरी से हुई आय से सांसद बन गये। इन्होंने सूचना कानून में संशोधन के लिए एक निजी विधेयक पेश किया है। दो सितंबर 2011 को लोकसभा में पेश हुआ यह विधेयक। चाहते हैं कि सूचना मांगने वाले नागरिक से इसका कारण पूछा जाए कि उसे सूचना क्यों चाहिए। अगर अधिकारी को लगे कि नागरिक की मांग सही नहीं, तो सूचना देने से इनकार कर देगा। विधेयक में यह प्रावधान किया गया है कि सूचना मांगने वाला नागरिक तत्संबंधी कारण बताएगा और कारण नहीं बताने पर या अपर्याप्त कारण बताने पर जनसूचना अधिकारी उसके आवेदन को अस्वीकृत कर देगा।

भ्रष्टाचार के मामलों में विपक्षी दलों और सिविल सोसायटी के हमलों का निशाना बनी मनमोहन सिंह सरकार ने नौकरशाही पर लगाम कसने के लिए जबरन रिटायरमेंट और रिटायर होने के बाद पेंशन में कटौती का महत्वपूर्ण फैसला लिया है। भ्रष्टाचार पर वित्त मंत्री प्रणव मुखर्जी की अध्यक्षता वाले मंत्री समूह की पहली रिपोर्ट में ये सिफारिशें की गई हैं, जिन्हें सरकार तत्काल लागू करने जा रही है।

नई दिल्ली।। अन्ना हजारे के आंदोलन के बाद देशभर में राज्य सरकारों ने जनता से जुड़े कामों को तय समय सीमा में पूरा करने, लापरवाह अधिकारियों के खिलाफ जुर्माना करने और भ्रष्टाचार निवारक संस्थाओं को अधिकार देने जैसे कदम उठाने शुरू कर दिए हैं।

मध्य प्रदेश और बिहार सार्वजनिक सेवाओं को ज्यादा प्रभावी तरीके से मुहैया कराने संबंधी कानून पहले ही लागू कर चुके हैं, वहीं छत्तीसगढ़, हिमाचल प्रदेश और दिल्ली भी इस दिशा में काम कर रहे हैं। मध्य प्रदेश में शिवराज सिंह चौहान सरकार ने जनसेवा गारंटी अधिनियम को लागू कर 1 साल से भी कम समय में 36 लाख शिकायतों को निपटा दिया है।

कौन दे रहा है पार्टियों को इतना चंदा?

नई दिल्ली ।। राजनीतिक दल अपने चंदे का बड़ा हिस्सा ऐसे स्रोतों से जुटा रहे हैं, जिनके बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं है। वे जो इनकम टैक्स रिटर्न दाखिल करते हैं, उनसे तो ऐसी ही बात सामने आई है। कांग्रेस, बीजेपी, एनसीपी और बीएसपी ने बीते 5 बरसों के दौरान चंदा देने वालों की जो लिस्ट और रिटर्न दाखिल किए हैं, उनसे साफ होता है कि इन दलों ने उन दानदाताओं की पहचान नहीं उजागर की है, जिनसे उन्हें ज्यादातर फंड मिलते हैं।

स्विस बैंक ने दिया अपने खाताधारकों को तगड़ा झटका

स्विट्जरलैंड में काला धन रखने वाले भारतीयों की अब खैर नहीं है वहां कि सरकार इस तरह की जमा राशि पर टैक्स लगाएगी।

इस बारे में स्विट्जरलैंड के वित्त मंत्रालय ने कहा कि उनका देश ऐसे धन पर टैक्स लगाने को तैयार है लेकिन कोई भी निर्णय लेने से पहले दोनों देशों के बीच बातचीत होगी। जर्मनी और इंग्लैंड के साथ स्विट्जरलैंड ने ऐसी संधि कर ली है और काला धन रखने वाले वहां के नगारिकों पर टैक्स लगाना शुरु कर दिया है

What was on your mind when you started this movement? At the end of it, how do you feel?

Firstly, it is not (Kisan Baburao 'Anna' Hazare ending his fast) the end of the movement. It is the process that is going on.

What we had in mind and we still have in mind is the enactment of a strong Jan Lokpal bill. Anna's fast was just part of the process. It appears to be a long process.

A new leader is born. Arvind Kejriwal these days is one of the most frequently interviewed leaders of Anna Hazare's team.
It is not that he was an unknown entity before. He won the prestigious Magsaysay Award in 2006 for his contribution to the common man's right to information. Before he attained celebrity status during Hazare's fast, he ran a non-governmental organisation called Parivartan and is one of the brains behind the India [Against Corruption campaign.

विकिलीक्स के संस्थापक जूलियन असांज और यूपी की मुख्यमंत्री मायावती के बीच हुई तानेबाजी किसी के भी होठों पर मुस्कान ला देगी। विकिलीक्स ने खुलासा किया कि मायावती ने अपने पसंदीदा सैंडल्स लाने के लिए अपना एक प्राइवेट जेट विमान लखनऊ से मुंबई भेजा था। इस खबर के बाद मायावती ने गुस्साते हुए कहा कि असांज को पागलखाने भेज दिया जाना चाहिए। असांज मायावती के इस बयान से निश्चित तौर पर चौंके होंगे इसीलिए उन्होंने पूरी गंभीरतापूर्वक उनको यह सलाह दी कि जो कुछ उनकी साइट ने लीक किया है, वह सरकारी अमेरिकी दस्तावेज है और अगर इससे उन्हें कोई समस्या है तो वह उनसे नहीं हिलेरी क्लिंटन से इस बारे में बात करें। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने चुटकी भी ली कि मायावती को अपना प्राइवेट जेट विमान यूके भेज कर उन्हें बुला लेना चाहिए, जहां उन पर आरोप लगा कर उन्हें उनके ही घर में नजरबंद किया हुआ है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वह भारत में शरण पाकर बहुत खुश होंगे और यह प्रस्ताव भी दिया कि वह मायावती के लिए इंग्लैंड से बढ़िया से बढ़िया चप्पलें भी ला सकते हैं।

Amar Singh arrested, sent to Tihar jail in cash-for-votes scam

Rajya Sabha MP and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and two former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs were Tuesday arrested and sent to judicial custody for alleged involvement in the cash-for-votes scandal during the July 2008 trust vote in Parliament. Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal sent Amar Singh as well as Fagan Singh Kulaste and Mahavir Singh Bhagora to judicial custody till Sep 19.

Made available by WikiLeaks, the cable is dated October 2008 and is sent by the Political Consul at the US Embassy in Delhi. It focuses on the Americans' attempts to evaluate the political atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh. It says political officers travelled to three cities in UP in October 2008. The chief minister of India's Uttar Pradesh state sent an empty private jet to get a pair of sandals from Mumbai, leaked US diplomatic cables say.

Ms Mayawati, an icon to millions of low-caste Dalits, rules over India's most populous state which is also one of the poorest in the country.

But the cables on whistleblower site Wikileaks described her as "obsessed with becoming Prime Minister".
