Petrol price raised by Rs 7.50 per litre

In the steepest ever hike, petrol price was increased today by Rs 7.50 a litre with effect from midnight tonight. State-owned oil firms said they will raise petrol price by Rs 6.28 per litre excluding local sales tax or VAT. The hike translates into Rs 7.50 per litre in Delhi. Petrol in Delhi currently costs Rs 65.64 a litre and after the increase it will be priced at Rs 73.14 per litre.

Create A Twitter Account

Create A Twitterfeed Account

Go to Twitterfeed.com and sign up for a free account, I'll discuss this later.

Create An Adf.ly Account

Head on over to adf.ly, and click the "JOIN NOW" button near the top, fill out all the necessary information.

At the bottom of the form, make sure your account type is set to "link shrinker".

adf.ly only pays through PayPal or "AlertPay", so be sure you're signed up with one of the two.

Working with RSS Feeds

Okay, so now what you want to do is go to Google, and search for any website that posts information and updates about the specific niche that you chose to base your twitter account on.

When you find the site you want, look for something on the page that will link you to that websites RSS feed, If you have trouble finding if they provide feeds or not, you can either go to "FIND" or "SEARCH" located in your browsers toolbar and type RSS in the search box, or enter the web site address in Google and add rss after it.

eg: gamestop.com rss

This will usually bring you to a page where you can select what rss feed you want, some sites offer multiple rss feeds so select the one you feel fits your needs.

Adding Your RSS Feed To TwitterFeed

Go back to twitterfeed.com, and create a new feed.

Add Feed To Twitterfeed

For this step all you have to do is copy the url of the feed you want to use, and paste it in to twitterfeed.

Add whatever you want for the name, and in the "Blog URL or RSS Feed URL" area, copy/paste (add) the url of the rss feed you want to use.

Advanced Settings

On the same screen click the "Advanced Settings" button and go to "shorten link through", there is a drop down box beside it, open it up and scroll to the bottom and select "Custom", Leave it empty for now and go back to Adf.ly, while logged in to adf.ly go to the top of the page and click Tools, on the tools page go to "API Documentation" and click.

On this page you will see a link that looks like this http://api.adf.ly/api.php?key=################################&uid=######&advert_type=int&domain=adf.ly&url=http://somewebsite.com

# represents your id and key.

Now take your key and uid and place it in this link (replace the # with your key and uid)
http://api.adf.ly/api.php?key=################################&uid=######&domain=adf.ly&url=%@

http://somewebsite.com Must Be Replaced With %@ In order for this to work.

Also you may have noticed that in the modified link "advert_type=int" has been removed, this is because TwitterFeed has issues showing the interstitial ad (full page ad) and just leads to a dead page when clicked, or shows the ads but doesn't redirect to the desired page, so the only way to fix this is by removing the "advert_type=int" instruction from the link and adf.ly will automatically use the interstitial link instruction and will work properly with TwitterFeed.

Now when that's done, all you have to do is copy and paste your new link into the twitterfeed Custom endpoint box and "Continue to step 2" on twitterfeed.

LAST STEP OMG!!!

Make sure that you are logged in to the twitter account that you want to use with twitterfeed, you are going to want to activate your twitter account with twitterfeeds oauth so it will automatically post feed/blog updates to your twitter account using the rss feed that you provided to twitterfeed, when that's all done, click done at the bottom, twitter will now get updated feed posts from twitterfeed, and the links in each post will now be automatically shrunk using adf.ly and posted to your twitter updates, and every time someone clicks your adf.ly link, you make a bit of cash.

1: Follow 100 to 200 people a day
2: Unfollow 100 to 200 non followers every week

You can use the search option in TA to filter people that might be interested in your tweets, and since TA is all automated, you can leave your computer to do all the work while you go play outside ;)

I usually set my follow unfollow time delay from 1 to 60 seconds, it keeps things more natural.

अपने देश के लोग मुझे चौंकाने का कोई मौका नहीं छोड़ते हैं। मैं इस बार यह बात दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर रविवार को अन्ना हजारे के एक दिन के धरना-प्रदर्शन में जुटी भीड़ को देखने के बाद कह रहा हूं। मुझे लग रहा था कि ज्यादातर लोग थक गए होंगे और वहां मुट्ठी भर या ज्यादा से ज्यादा दो-चार सौ लोग पहुंचेंगे, लेकिन उस छोटी सी जगह पर इकट्ठा हुआ जनसैलाब अभिभूत कर देने वाला था। इस पर से कई पार्टियों के नेताओं के आंदोलन को समर्थन देने की घोषणा के बाद सरकार घिरी हुई लग रही है और जरूर चिंतित होगी। अब वह सोच रही होगी कि इस महीने के अंत में रामलीला मैदान में होने वाले बड़े आंदोलन से पता नहीं क्या निकलेगा। ये सब सोचकर ही सरकार के पसीने छूट रहे होंगे।

महाराष्ट्र के शिरडी संसदीय क्षेत्र से शिवसेना सांसद हैं भाउसाहब वाकचौरे। 39 साल की सरकारी नौकरी से हुई आय से सांसद बन गये। इन्होंने सूचना कानून में संशोधन के लिए एक निजी विधेयक पेश किया है। दो सितंबर 2011 को लोकसभा में पेश हुआ यह विधेयक। चाहते हैं कि सूचना मांगने वाले नागरिक से इसका कारण पूछा जाए कि उसे सूचना क्यों चाहिए। अगर अधिकारी को लगे कि नागरिक की मांग सही नहीं, तो सूचना देने से इनकार कर देगा। विधेयक में यह प्रावधान किया गया है कि सूचना मांगने वाला नागरिक तत्संबंधी कारण बताएगा और कारण नहीं बताने पर या अपर्याप्त कारण बताने पर जनसूचना अधिकारी उसके आवेदन को अस्वीकृत कर देगा।

भ्रष्टाचार के मामलों में विपक्षी दलों और सिविल सोसायटी के हमलों का निशाना बनी मनमोहन सिंह सरकार ने नौकरशाही पर लगाम कसने के लिए जबरन रिटायरमेंट और रिटायर होने के बाद पेंशन में कटौती का महत्वपूर्ण फैसला लिया है। भ्रष्टाचार पर वित्त मंत्री प्रणव मुखर्जी की अध्यक्षता वाले मंत्री समूह की पहली रिपोर्ट में ये सिफारिशें की गई हैं, जिन्हें सरकार तत्काल लागू करने जा रही है।

Amar Singh arrested, sent to Tihar jail in cash-for-votes scam

Rajya Sabha MP and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and two former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs were Tuesday arrested and sent to judicial custody for alleged involvement in the cash-for-votes scandal during the July 2008 trust vote in Parliament. Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal sent Amar Singh as well as Fagan Singh Kulaste and Mahavir Singh Bhagora to judicial custody till Sep 19.
